Clerc is a 35 year-old product designer living
between Paris, London and Taipei.
After a diploma entitled “Gardening in the city”
at ensci/les Ateliers, he started working with companies
designing furniture and accessories for the garden. Sensitive
to our interaction with nature, this plants lover’s
designs are born out of an eco-friendly approach. François

an eco-friendly way of life
Responsible for creating the graphic identity of the new
Taiwanese brand Yu-Shi – including their business
cards, brochure and stationary.
Ethiopia - French ambassy
Organised intercultural project between French designers
and Ethiopian craftsmen. End product was the creation
of durable garden furniture using traditional Ethiopian
building techniques. Instigated systems for continued
production and opened up sales channels enabling the project
to continue independently of the Embassy.
Volvo - Volvo Taiwan
Designed promotional products for Volvo Taiwan for the
launch of the new C70.

Established an association - ‘Raké Design’
- to promote the Kyrgyz craft industry through partnerships

Organised a workshop for students at the Academy of Architecture
in Almaty - led by professional designers from France.
Created a series of products in felt produced in Kyrgyzstan
