Narcissus,
borne of the beautiful young man of the same name who fell hopelessly in love with his own image in a pond. He was both the lover and the object of his love. He faded away as he sat there mesmerized by the illusion of himself, and was turned into a flower, intended as a snare for the 'bloom-like girl', Persephone.
